Dunia Fantasi or also called Dufan which was inaugurated on August 29, 1985 is an entertainment place located in Ancol Jaya Impian Jaya complex (Ancol Dream Park), North Jakarta, Indonesia. DuFan has a mascot in the form of a bekantan monkey named Dufan (short for Dunia Fantasi). Choosing apes as characters is to remind that Ancol was once an ape region. The selection of bekantan monkeys is solely to introduce endangered species that are now protected. At first this karmic monkey form was visualized by Matari Advertising who participated in the initial DuFan  communication program because at that time Agustinus Teddy Darmanto as chairman and in charge of BenDufa (World Fantasy Workshop) was very busy in the final stages of completion, therefore visualization was given on Matari Advertising. but after DuFan was opened to the public visualization of the character of DuFanwas taken over by the BenDufa team and created the logo and mascot of the Fantasy World of DuFan.

·         Some Attractions in DuFan

      Rides in Dufan Ancol is divided into several types based on its adrenaline level, Children Rides,  Family Rides, Water Rides, and Thrill Ride. Here are some popular vehicles in Dufan Ancol,   including:

-          Playground Rides

Rides in Dufan Ancol can be said to be available for all ages, one of them is Children Rides. Children Rides area offers a vehicle specifically for children aged 5-12 years.

-          Thrill Rides

If you want to test the adrenaline with thrilling rides, but haven't been brave enough to ride the Thrill Rides ride? Then visitors can try several Family rides like Ontang-Anting or Alap-Alap. Ontang-Anting gives visitors the sensation of flying in the air at 4 meters high, then rotates quickly.

-          Family Rides

Family Rides has Gajah Beledug rides that can bring visitors to fly to a height of 100 cm. With up and down movements like flying, it is very safe and fun to ride by children.

-          Water Rides

Visitors can feel the sensation of real Arum Jeram with 325 meters long artificial rapids here.

DuFan is famous for its Thrill Rides which can make visitors feel high tension and scream hysterically. One of the extreme vehicles that are also in great demand in Dufan is the Halilintar vehicle.

Halilintar will bring visitors across inclines, derivatives, rotating 360 degrees, and bends at high speed. Visitors will experience a surge of adrenaline and high levels of tension that will encourage hysterical shouting.

And other extreme famous rides are tornado rides. Why is this ride called extreme? because the body will be forced to spin upside down in the air. But its security need not be feared, because visitors are given strong security and will not be released. When the engine is turned on, visitors will be lifted up and slowly rotated 360 degrees, with increasing speed. Visitors must prepare physically and mentally before riding it, because the body will be turned upside down for a long time.

The last ride which very extreme is Hysteria. From the name we can conclude that we  will scream hysterically when playing it. This ride was designed to test the courage and spur the adrenaline of visitors who climbed it. Wahana Hysteria will take visitors up to the top of the 60 meter high in just 4 seconds. Then it is blown down quickly, and so on repeatedly, so the stomach feels like it's stirring.

Could you guys imagine how many and fun the rides on DuFan?!

·         Now I will explain you about the facilities.

Facilities - facilities available at Dufan Ancol are fairly complete and are spread throughout the area for the convenience of visitors. Dunia Fantasi Ancol has 12 toilet facilities spread across various rides.

For visitors who want to worship, there are also mosques and mosques to perform prayer services. For visitors who run out of their HP battery power, Dufan has provided a charging point facility. The location is in several locations such as near the exit, near the Mirror House, and in the restaurant.

For mothers and babies, Dufan provides facilities such as Baby Care and Baby Stoller. There is also a luggage storage locker in several Dunia Fantasi locations, with rental rates of Rp. 30,000 /each usage.

For visitors who are exhausted, can enjoy Fresh Water which is available in several locations and guaranteed cleanliness. Ticket prices for Dufan are still relatively affordable, when compared to various excitements that can be felt. To enter the Dunia Fantasi area, visitors must pass the Ancol gate by paying an entrance ticket of Rp25,000. For motorcyclists only need to pay Rp. 15,000, and if using the Bus pay for Rp. 45,000. When arriving at Dunia Fantasi, visitors can choose the type of ticket they want, of course with different prices. The regular Dufan entrance ticket is a regular entrance ticket that allows visitors to enjoy all of Dufan's rides. Dufan entrance ticket is offered at a price of Rp 200,000 for weekdays and Rp 2,95,000 for weekends. Affordable price isn't it?

·         If you ask about the clock, okay I'll explain it too hehe.

Visitors can enjoy Ancol Fantasy World rides every day even on holidays starting at 10:00. On Monday - Friday, Dufan Ancol is open from 10:00 until 18:00 WIB. While on weekends and holidays, Dufan Ancol is open from 10.00 - 20.00 WIB. Visitors have enough time to enjoy all the rides available at Dufan. For visitors who use recreation 2 tickets to Seaworld, open from 09.00 - 18.00 WIB.
